Privacy Policy – CHANDANI RODHI GHAR

Chandani Rodhi Ghar & Restaurant (hereinafter referred to as “the Restaurant”) handles personal information entrusted to us by our customers and all other individuals involved in our business activities (including business partners, shareholders, employees, and others, collectively referred to as “Customers, etc.”) appropriately in accordance with the following policy.

I. Personal Information

The personal information handled by the Restaurant includes any of the following:

Information provided through input forms, including name, address, postal code, date of birth, gender, telephone number, email address, purchase history, and other information, as well as images captured by security cameras.
Pseudonymized information processed so that individuals cannot be identified.
Log information automatically collected through the use of our website and other online services.

II. Purpose of Use

The Restaurant may use the personal information entrusted to us by Customers, etc. only within the scope of the following purposes. If personal information is to be used for any purpose other than those listed below, the purpose will be clearly specified in advance.

1. Information Related to Customers

To respond to reservations, applications, and other requests from customers, and to contact customers when necessary.
To respond to inquiries, opinions, and requests regarding the Restaurant’s operations.
To process and deliver products ordered by customers and to contact customers as necessary.
To provide customers with information regarding products, services, campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials through email, social media, or other communication methods.
To notify winners of campaigns, contests, or promotional events and to provide or deliver prizes.
To use statistical data for marketing, product development, and service improvement.
To request customers’ cooperation in surveys intended to improve product quality and services, and to handle matters related to such surveys.
For crime prevention purposes, including the use of security cameras.

2. Information Related to Business Partners

To conduct business transactions with business partners.

3. Information Related to Shareholders

To enable shareholders to exercise their rights and for the Restaurant to fulfill its obligations.
To prepare and manage shareholder records.
To communicate with shareholders, including notices of shareholders’ meetings.

4. Information Related to Employees (Including Part-time Employees), Job Applicants, Former Employees, and Their Family Members

For personnel and labor management.
For business communications and emergency contact purposes.
For payment of salaries, bonuses, and employee benefits.
For tax and social insurance administration.
To process employment applications.
To provide information and maintain necessary business communications with former employees.

5. Other Purposes

For purposes incidental to those described in Sections (1) through (4) above.

III. Provision to Third Parties

The Restaurant will not provide personal information received from Customers, etc. to any third party without obtaining prior consent, except when the information is entrusted to contractors who are obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information.
However, this shall not apply in the following cases:

When required by law.
When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult.
When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult.
When cooperation with a national government agency, local government, or a party entrusted by such agencies is necessary for the execution of duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the customer’s consent may interfere with the execution of those duties.
When otherwise permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.

IV. Disclosure of Personal Information

When a customer requests disclosure of personal information pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Restaurant will verify the identity of the requester and disclose the requested information without undue delay. If the requested personal information does not exist, the Restaurant will notify the requester accordingly. Please note that a separately prescribed handling fee will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
If the Restaurant is not obligated to disclose personal information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations, the provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not apply.

V. Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information

If a customer requests correction of personal information on the grounds that it is inaccurate, or requests suspension of use on the grounds that the information has been handled beyond the scope of the publicly announced purposes of use or was obtained through fraudulent or other improper means, the Restaurant will verify the identity of the requester, conduct the necessary investigation without undue delay, and based on the results, correct or suspend the use of the personal information and notify the customer accordingly. If the Restaurant decides not to make the correction or suspend the use, the customer will be notified of that decision.
If a customer requests deletion of personal information and the Restaurant determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Restaurant will verify the identity of the requester, delete the personal information, and notify the customer accordingly. If the Restaurant decides not to delete the information, the customer will be notified of that decision.
If the Restaurant is not obligated under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations to correct, suspend the use of, or delete personal information as described above, the provisions of the preceding paragraphs shall not apply.

VI. Changes to This Policy

The Restaurant may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. However, if a revision requires the consent of Customers, etc. under applicable laws, the revised Privacy Policy shall apply only to those customers who have agreed to the changes in the manner prescribed by the Restaurant.
Whenever this Privacy Policy is revised, the Restaurant will notify Customers, etc. of the effective date and details of the revised policy by posting it on the Restaurant’s website or through other appropriate means.
